Manchester City push for Haaland

According to a recent report from Bild, Manchester City are already putting in the work to try and sign Erling Haaland next year.

The Borussia Dortmund forward is clearly one of the most exciting goalscorers out there in world football right now with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain both making a push to try and sign him during the most recent summer transfer window. Alas, neither were successful, and after such a hectic period for the market it now seems as if the door could be open for Haaland to be next summer’s “big” mover.

City themselves weren’t able to bring in a new star striker as they had desired but instead of dwelling on it, they’re instead turning their attention towards next year – with Pep Guardiola clearly understanding just how valuable Haaland is and how good he could continue to get.

The price being touted is €75 million and given what he’s capable of, we’d say that’s an absolute bargain.
