Manchester City set Koulibaly deadline

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Manchester City have given Napoli until Friday to complete the Kalidou Koulibaly deal.

For the longest time it’s been the Italian side putting forward the rules and regulations for this potential move, but as the uncertainty surrounding the defender’s future continues, many continue to wonder whether or not City are actually the ones in the driving seat.

Manchester United have also been interested in securing his signature but in recent weeks, things have clearly broken down for the Red Devils as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks elsewhere for defensive reinforcements.

Koulibaly has the potential to be one of the most exciting defenders that the Premier League has seen in a long time, but most importantly, he could be the player that guides City back to the Premier League title.

One thing is for sure – Liverpool fans will be hoping that this falls apart sooner rather than later.
