Manchester United among favourites in Willian chase

Bookmakers have slashed the odds of Manchester United signing Willian from Chelsea this summer, according to the Daily Star.

The Brazil international has been strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season with Barcelona favourites to secure his services while Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also monitoring the situation.

However, Old Trafford is the winger’s most likely destination should he move to another club in the Premier League and the switch would see him reunited with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

Willian signed for Chelsea from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer of 2013 and he has since played two hundred and twenty-six times, scoring a total of forty-four goals.

During that time the twenty-nine year old has won two Premier League titles and the League Cup while he was named the club’s Player of the Season for the 2015/16 campaign.
