Manchester United close to Koulibaly deal

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United are getting closer and closer towards completing the signing of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. Koulibaly has been on the radar of the Red Devils for longer than most of us can even remember, with the Italian club gearing up to accept an offer of around €100 million if it officially comes in.

While United have certainly been able to improve their defensive issues over the course of the last few weeks, there’s no harm in trying to secure the signing of a player that is well known for being one of the best centre backs in world football.

If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is given the time and resources necessary to make some moves during the summer transfer window, we could see quite a few high profile stars make their way through the doors of Old Trafford in the next few months.
