Manchester United go after Camavinga

According to a recent report from AS, Manchester United are hoping to hijack Real Madrid’s pursuit of teenage sensation Eduardo Camavinga.

Real decided to wait it out for the Rennes star as he prepares to turn 18 in November, but it does seem as if they may be beaten to the punch.

Camavinga has all the potential in the world but signing him would be quite the risk, and at this stage, United are the kind of club that need to be taking as many risks as they possibly can. You won’t see every Red Devils fan agreeing with that but when you take one look at how far the club has fallen since Sir Alex Ferguson left, it’s clear to see that something needs to change.

They just don’t have the same bite or appeal as they used to, but if they can lure Camavinga to Old Trafford, maybe the tide will begin to turn.
