Manchester United go after Nunez

According to a recent report from Sport, Manchester United are believed to be leading the charge in the race to sign Darwin Nunez.

The 22-year-old Benfica forward has been lighting it up both domestically and in Europe so far this season, to the point where it often feels like he’s only showing us a glimpse of what he’s truly capable of. He has a natural goalscoring ability and if he’s able to harness that in the right way across the next decade or so, he could become one of his generation’s very best forwards.

Manchester United are in desperate need of a momentum surge and one way for them to try and push the agenda in the top four race next season would be to bring in a new goalscoring machine. Plus, with Nunez attempting to secure a place in the Uruguay squad for the World Cup, a big move could draw some real eyes to what he can do.
