Manchester United make a move for Ndombele

According to reports in France, Manchester United have made contact with Tanguy Ndombele’s representatives. The Red Devils would be entering the race for his signature alongside a series of other clubs, including local rivals Manchester City. They are believed to have been asking about a potential move during the summer transfer window, although given how much longer there is between now and the window opening, it feels like there could still be quite a few twists and turns to come.

The 22 year old has been with French side Lyon since last year, when he made the move over from Amiens. Before that he was with Lyon on loan, before his switch was made permanent.

Ndombele is widely considered to be one of the most exciting young midfielders in the game today, although he’d face some stiff competition for consistent time in the starting XI if he moved to either City or United.
