Manchester United still want Haaland

According to a recent report from ESPN, Erling Haaland is still the number one target for Manchester United ahead of next summer’s transfer window.

One of the worst-kept secrets in world football today is that Erling Haaland is a wanted man. The Borussia Dortmund and Norway striker is easily one of the most talented forwards of his generation and while that may seem like an overstatement, his track record in Germany and in Europe proves why so many are after him.

It was reported just yesterday that Manchester City are in line to make a hefty offer of around €75 million to try and lure him to the Etihad next summer. Of course, if United are determined enough, we’re pretty confident in saying that they could match – if not surpass – that kind of fee, especially for someone that has as much of an upside as Haaland does.

He may be young, but the next move in Haaland’s career could be a crucial one.
