Manchester United want Haaland

According to a recent report from Bild, Manchester United are set to throw themselves into the running in the race to sign Erling Haaland.

Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are all gearing up to make a move for the Norwegian sensation next summer after he opted to stay put with Borussia Dortmund a few months back. His £100 million+ fee that was set by Dortmund seemed to throw a lot of clubs off but when the next summer window rolls around, there will reportedly be a £64 million release clause attached to it – which is an absolute bargain when you consider the fact he’s scored 65 goals in 65 games for the German giants.

The Red Devils managed to bring Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo over to Old Trafford this past summer and while securing Haaland is going to be pretty difficult given the other competitors involved, there’s clearly something going right behind the scenes.
