Manchester United want Icardi?

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick is planning on making a move to sign Mauro Icardi.

The Argentine is currently plying his trade at Paris Saint-Germain but a myriad of reports are suggesting he wants a move away from the French giants.

The 28-year-old is ready for a new challenge and, apparently, United are opening their arms up to the possibility of him arriving at Old Trafford.

If he does make the move then one has to suspect it’ll have something to do with the impending departure of Edinson Cavani. The veteran appeared to wave goodbye to the United crowd recently and given how turbulent things are at the club, it makes sense for him to look elsewhere as he begins to enter the twilight of his illustrious career.

United, meanwhile, need to get their priorities straight now that the January window is officially open.
