Mandzukic heading to Qatar?

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic seems to have finally made a decision regarding his future with the club as fans and media members alike await an official confirmation from the veteran. 

The decision seems to be that he is going to be making the jump overseas to play his football in Qatar, with the big money offer taking priority over remaining in Europe, which is what many were expecting him to do. 

Manchester United are well known for being really interested in signing Mandzukic, but with other targets being in their sights during the January transfer window, it doesn’t appear as if they’re going to keep pushing all too hard for this. 

While Qatar isn’t set to become a booming market for world football any time soon, it’s certainly still going to be a place that features some top names if this trend continues in the next few years.
