Mane jokes about Liverpool future

“You know I’m not a fan of these teams,” said Mane when asked about the big European clubs he’s linked with, including Bayern. “My club is Marseille, I would rather say Marseille.”

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has jokingly noted that he would leave the Reds – in favour of Marseille, not Bayern Munich.

The future of Senegal’s main forward has been in doubt over the course of the last few months and at this stage, it seems unlikely that we’re going to get another season of him at Anfield.

Alas, even with this being the case, there’s still some hope that he could partake in a U-turn, even though Bayern have consistently appeared to be on the verge of bringing him over to Germany.

Mane has easily been one of the club’s most influential players across the last five years but if the two parties can’t come to terms on a deal, it would seem as if Bayern not be the way he wants to go, unless he’s purely wanting to throw the media off the scent.
