Marcelo moves closer to Juventus switch

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Marcelo is edging closer and closer towards a move over to Italian football with champions Juventus. The belief is that the 30 year old will make the transition during the upcoming summer transfer window, after spending the last 12 years of his career at the Bernabeu with Real Madrid. The Brazilian will be reuniting with Cristiano Ronaldo, with Zinedine Zidane also being tipped to return to management with his former club.

Marcelo’s desire to jump ship has hardly been a secret over the course of the last few months, as the fullback prepares to enter the prime of his career.

Marcelo is considered to be a fan favourite in Madrid and has been an extremely successful member of the first team squad since his arrival, and he’ll be hoping to carry that good form over to his proposed new venture with an exciting Juve side.
