Marseille marking Arkadiusz Milik

Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik is said to have emerged as a transfer target for Olympique Marseille.

Reports coming from France claim that the Ligue 1 outfit have set their sights on the Poland international who made a full comeback from two serious knee injuries this season.

The 24-year-old striker is struggling for playing time under Carlo Ancelotti but is using every chance he gets to prove his worth to the Italian tactician.

Milik scored the winning goal in a 2-1 victory at Atalanta on Monday night after coming on for Dries Mertens in the 85th minute and will be hoping for a change in fortunes going further.

Napoli frontman is determined to fight for his place upfront but Napoli could end up selling the injury-prone hitman in order to recoup the €32 million invested in signing him from Ajax in 2016.

Marseille have already attempted to sign Milik in the summer of 2017 and are prepared to return for the Polish international.

Despite his serious injuries, Milik still managed to score 18 goals in 54 appearances for the Partenopei.
