Martial keen on Manchester United exit

The Mirror understands that Antony Martial remains intent on leaving Manchester United at the end of the season.

The twenty-two-year old is out of contract come the summer and has made it clear that he wants to play more regularly.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the France international while there is likely to be offers from across Europe also.

The Red Devils may decide to trigger a twelve-month extension on Martial’s current deal which would mean that they would receive a fee for a player they paid over £40m for just over three years ago.

Since arriving at Old Trafford, Martial has racked up one hundred and forty-four appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-eight goals – the last of which coming in United’s come-from-behind victory over Newcastle United earlier this month.

Jose Mourihno’s side travel to Chelsea on Saturday and Martial can be backed at 7/2 to score at any time in the game.
