Martial pens new Manchester United deal

Sky Sports understand that Anthony Martial has signed a new contract with Manchester United.

The France international has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2024, while there will be an option to extend that by a further year come that time.

Martial’s day at Old Trafford looked to be numbered towards the end of Jose Mourinho’s reign though he has featured regularly under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, with his last goal for the club coming in the 3-1 FA Cup victory at Arsenal a week ago.

In total, the twenty-three-year-old has racked up one hundred and sixty-one appearances in all competitions, scoring forty-six goals while he has winners medals in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the Europa League.

Manchester United travel to Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, with Martial priced at 11/2 to score first.
