Martial rejects Man United offers

According to reports in France, Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has rejected several offers from the club to extend his contract. The youngster’s current deal is set to expire in 2020 but the Red Devils want to keep him on the books for much longer than that, despite the fact they’ve shown no real interest in giving him a consistent place in the starting XI.

While Martial certainly hasn’t been as consistent as he once was nobody can be surprised by the fact that he isn’t overly eager to commit his future to Old Trafford. There has been friction between himself and the club for quite some time now, and it’s always seemed like a ticking time bomb that is just waiting to go off.

Martial has had significant interest from elsewhere to deal with as well, with Italian champions Juventus being said to be very interested in acquiring his services.
