Celtic winger Aiden McGeady signed a new five-year contract with the Scottish champions on Thursday.
McGeady, 21, was given the improved deal as reward for a fine season which saw the Republic of Ireland winger voted the Glasgow club's player of the year.
Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell said: “Our priority has always been to try to keep our best players at the club and the board is delighted to support Gordon (Strachan)'s plans for the future by securing Aiden on this long-term agreement.”
