Medel to Premier League?

According to Sky Sports News, West Ham United are interested in bringing Gary Medel over to the Premier League from Besiktas. Officials from the London Stadium are said to be travelling to Turkey over the course of the next few days in order to enter negotiations for the deal, which would likely go through in the January transfer window based on how quickly everything is moving.

West Ham haven’t yet commented on the rumours and there is no offer in place as of this moment, although Manuel Pellegrini is eager to strike up a deal.

The 31 year old has experience in the United Kingdom, courtesy of his one year spell with Cardiff City. Aside from that he has also played for a series of other notable clubs throughout the course of his career including Boca Juniors, Sevilla, Inter Milan and of course Besiktas.

The Chilean international would be a welcome addition from a defensive standpoint for the Hammers.
