Middlesbrough and QPR eye Tottenham Hotspur’s Luke Amos

Middlesbrough are interested in signing Luke Amos from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to The Northern Echo. It has been reported that Boro have spoken to Spurs about the 23-year-old midfielder’s position and want to sign him on a permanent contract.

Queens Park Rangers are also reported to be interested in securing the services of the 23-year-old midfielder this summer. The youngster spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at QPR from Spurs this past season, and made 26 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Championship, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.

It has been further claimed that Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho has told his bosses to sell the 23-year-old this summer, as he does not feature in his plans. The report has added that Spurs will sell the midfielder for a six-figure transfer fee, with the player having been valued at £1.5 million last summer.
