Milan agree Cerci deal

Sky Sport Italia has learned that AC Milan have agreed to sign Italian forward Alessio Cerci from Atletico Madrid.

The Rossoneri have confirmed Fernando Torres will be joining the club on permanent deal, but the Spaniard will be immediately exchanged for Alessio Cerci.

The former Chelsea striker will arrive in Madrid on 30th December and will in turn undergo a medical ahead of his return to Vicente Calderon.

Meanwhile, Cerci will cut short his vacation in the Maldives in order to sign a contract with the Rossoneri, although his medical will probably take place on 2nd January.

The 27-year-old, therefore, returns to Italian Serie A after spending mere six months in Spain, making just six substitute appearances for Atletico in La Liga.

Cerci should be available for selection when AC Milan host Sassuolo on 6th January, with the Rossoneri available at 4/7 to claim maximum points and further improve their top 3 chances.
