Serie A giants Milan have confirmed that they have loaned Kaka’s brother Digao to Lecce.

Digao has been with Milan since 2005, but has only ever featured once for the club.

He has spent the last two seasons on loan with Rimini and Standard Liege, and he will now spend another term out on loan.

Digao is one of a number of Milan reserve players departing the club with Willy Aubameyang sent on loan to Belgian outfit Kas Eupen, whilst Mathias Cardacio and Tabare Viudez have been released.

Lecce were busy on deadline day, not just securing the signature of Digao, but also Manuel Belleri, who was a free agent after leaving Lazio in the summer.

The Salento club also confirmed that Souleymane Dioumetene has stepped up to Serie A with newly-promoted Bari.

Tiziano Polenghi has also departed Lecce, joining lower league club Sassuolo.
