Milan looking to end Torres loan spell

Fernando Torres could be offered up for free this January after Milan moved to cancel his two year loan deal, according to the Mirror.

The Spain international, who signed for the Blues for a British record fee of £50m almost four years ago, moved to the Rossoneri on a temporary basis in the summer.

However, the form which he showed a Stamford Bridge has continued for the Italian outfit with the striker scoring just once in ten Serie A appearances.

Milan are now looking to cancel the loan deal, and with a future at Chelsea for the former Liverpool man looking highly unlikely, he is set to be the subject of yet another transfer when the window reopens next month.

Torres’ former club Atletico Madrid have turned down the chance to re-sign the 30 year old in a deal which would have seen Alessio Cerci move to the San Siro.
