Milner and Mane waiting on new contracts

According to Liverpool Echo, James Milner and Sadio Mane are both waiting to discuss new contracts with the club. Milner’s current deal is set to expire in 2020 with Mane’s being in 2021, and while that may still seem like a while away, they’ll still be eager to secure their future at Anfield.

They’re both said to be in line for extensions, which is hardly a surprise given how well they’ve both been performing as of late. Milner continues to play an understated role in the Liverpool midfield, whereas Mane often gets forgotten about in the discussion of the best attacking players in the Premier League – despite the fact that he’s been equally as, if not more, impressive than Mo Salah this season.

Liverpool are going after their first ever Premier League title, and if they’re going to achieve that goal, then they’ll need to ensure that Mane and Milner are as happy as they can possibly be.
