According to Sky Italia, Kevin Mirallas has completed his medical at Fiorentina ahead of a proposed season-long switch to the Italian club. The 30-year-old midfielder has been at Goodison Park for six years now, and in that time he’s had a fairly successful tenure with the Merseyside club.
Mirallas is considered to be one of the most underrated players in the Premier League when it comes to natural finishing ability and that’s certainly something Fiorentina could use. The club finished down in 8th last season in Serie A, and this time around, they’ll be hoping to push into the European spots in what is quickly becoming one of the most exciting leagues in the world.
Everton, on the other hand, have made several key improvements to their squad throughout the summer transfer window. Still, many will be left to question whether or not they’re strong enough to compete with England’s elite.
