Morata in surprise West Ham United link

Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata could be set to secure a shock loan move to West Ham United, according to Talksport.

The Spain international has failed to recreate his best form since arriving at Stamford Bridge, with him scoring just eleven goals in thirty-one league appearances.

His one and only goal this term came in last month’s 3-2 win over Arsenal while he was an unused substitute in Saturday’s come from behind victory over Cardiff City.

He missed out on selection for this summer’s World Cup finals with his last international appearance coming in a 5-0 friendly win over Costa Rica last November.

He was called up for the recent UEFA Nations League double header against England and Croatia but didn’t feature in either game.

Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are also interested in securing his services though the Hammers could be set to give him another chance to rebuild his reputation in London.
