Mourinho back to Chelsea?

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, there’s a chance Jose Mourinho will return to Chelsea for an extraordinary third tenure.

Graham Potter’s time at the helm clearly isn’t going very well thus far. Despite all of the money being thrown around by the Blues, they’re still struggling to make an honest impact in the Premier League.

The belief is that Mourinho, who won silverware with Roma last season, would entertain the possibility of one last dance at Stamford Bridge.

A top four finish may be enough to keep him at Roma but if that doesn’t happen, the Italian may well begin to look around – with Chelsea being his ideal landing spot, it seems.

The veteran knows what it means to turn clubs around and at Chelsea, he knows what it means to win trophies. Sure, some fans don’t like that he went to Tottenham, but we still think they’d jump at this opportunity.
