Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association following the 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa.
The Portuguese was sent to the stands on Saturday following an enraged response to Ramires’ late sending off for a challenge on Karim El Ahmadi, when he encroached onto the field of play to confront referee Chris Foy.
Ramires’ dismissal was Chelsea’s second of the match after Willian was given his

marching orders for two yellow cards earlier in the Premier League encounter.
An FA statement on Wednesday read: “Jose Mourinho has been charged by The FA following his side’s game against Aston Villa on Saturday 15 March 2014.
“It is alleged the Chelsea manager’s behaviour in re-entering the field of play in or around the 90th minute of the fixture and approaching the Match Referee amounted to improper conduct.
“Mourinho has until 6pm on 24 March 2014 to respond to the charge.”
Chelsea currently sit four points clear of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League, although the Merseyside club have a game in hand.
