Almiron’s impressive exploits this season have earned him the place in an All-Star team during his first MLS season and the finalist for MLS Newcomer of the Year.

Arsenal have been credited with an interest in Paraguay international for quite some time whereas the British media report that Rafa Benitez has also joined the chase.

Newcastle United boss is looking to strengthen his midfield during winter and is said to be keeping a close eye on the player who could be available for £15 million.

The Italian media report, however, that Serie A struggling giants AC Milan have also in the race for Miguel Almiron’s signature.
