Napoli close to renewing Zielinski’s contract

Napoli have had a season with a lot of ups and downs and they still do not know whether or not they will be given the chance to compete in the round of 16 second leg match in the UEFA Champions League. But they do know that they need to keep some important players as part of their squad this coming summer and one of those players is probably already known.

It looks like Piotr Zielinski will have no doubts whether or not he will stay at San Paolo. According to Calciomercato’s claims, Napoli are on the verge of tying the Poland international down to a new deal. The report suggests that the midfielder is set to earn 2.5 million euros per season as part of this new contract.

That deal is expected to run all the way until the end of June of 2024. The only thing that needs solving at this point in time is the player’s buyout clause. Zielinski’s entourage apparently do not want it to be above 60 million euros, but the club want to push it as his as 100 million euros…
