Napoli eyeing Azpilicueta

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez is keen on raiding former club Chelsea for full back Cesar Azpilicueta, the Daily Star understands.

The Spaniard is keen on strengthening his squad, who currently have fired the club to second in Serie A having lost once in their opening eleven games.

Azpilicueta was a regular under Benitez at the Blues, though he is yet to start in the Premier League since Jose Mourniho returned to Stamford Bridge.

He has made two starts in both the Champions League and League Cup, and in the latter scored his first goal for the club in the 2-0 victory over Arsenal last week, securing their place in the quarter finals, where they will face Sunderland after the North East side beat Southampton last night.

The four times winners are favourites to win the competition, and can be backed at a price of 11/4 to lift the trophy at Wembley in March.
