According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira in addition to AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez.
Napoli recently changed things up in regards to their management structure, and now that the new regime is in place, they want to start piecing together a few important transfers in time for the January transfer window.
Torreira started off like a house on fire when he first arrived at the Emirates last year, but ever since then he’s struggled to really get a foothold in proceedings at the club. He’s been on the outside looking in at the central midfield position and while he’s had his moments, Arsenal seem equally as ready as Torreira himself to move on.
Given what Arsenal paid for him in the first place, though, you’d have to imagine Napoli will need to put in a substantial bid in order for the Gunners to agree to the sale.
