According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Tanguy Ndombele has informed Tottenham Hotspur that he wants to leave the club.
The midfielder has failed to make a single appearance in any game since Nuno Espirito Santo came into the mix as manager and despite Spurs managing to win their opening game of the season against Manchester City, it doesn’t appear as if Tanguy is motivated enough to stay in North London right now.
Tottenham still have a lot of work to do before the end of the summer transfer window and Nuno himself may not like to hear that, but if the club wants to finish in the top four, it’s the truth.
Ndombele has been fairly hit and miss since he first arrived at Tottenham but you’d have thought he could have a legitimate opportunity to shine in this team – but if that’s not what he wants, the smart move would be to let him go.
