New Everton deal for Digne?

“The situation is we are pleased to offer a new contract to Digne because he is an important player for the present and the future and the club are going to talk to him,” Ancelotti said.

“I think it will not be a problem to renew the contract because he is happy to be here and we are happy with him.”

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed the club is planning on offering a new contract to star defender Lucas Digne.

While he may currently be locked into a deal that will take his tenure at Goodison Park through until summer 2023, a number of big clubs across Europe are believed to be tracking him. Digne is seemingly quite happy on Merseyside if Ancelotti is to be believed, and given how well the Toffees have been playing so far this season, it makes sense that both parties would want to continue this relationship.
