New Newcastle deal for Saint-Maximin

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Newcastle United are set to sign Allan Saint-Maximin to a brand new deal with the club.

The Frenchman signed a huge six-year deal when he made the move over to Tyneside last year and now, he’s in advanced talks over adding an additional year to that alongside a big pay rise. That will then keep him at the club until 2026.

The mood around the club has been tense in recent times but as we look ahead to the future, some Newcastle fans believe that the right pieces are starting to fall into place for them.

Saint-Maximin hasn’t always been the perfect target man for the Magpies but he’s definitely starting to come into his own as the season progresses. The aim will seemingly be for the club to steer away from the relegation zone and towards the top half and ASM will help them significantly in that mission.
