New Tottenham deal for Kane?

According to a recent report from Eurosport, Harry Kane may sign a new deal with Tottenham Hotspur – so long as there’s a guaranteed release clause within it.

The England captain felt like he had a gentleman’s agreement with the club that would’ve seen him leave to sign Manchester City this past summer, but as it turns out, that wasn’t the case. Kane hasn’t exactly looked like himself for Spurs ever since the transfer fell apart and while he could always just leave next season, it seems as if he wants to go down a similar route to what Jack Grealish did last summer with Aston Villa.

With a guaranteed release clause he’d be able to all but seal his way out of North London whether it be next summer or after that, and based on what we’ve seen, that’s exactly what he wants to happen in order to progress his career.
