Newcastle draw no bet 13/8 against Burnley for Saturday’s Premier League showdown

Competition: Premier League

Market: Newcastle draw no bet

Odds: 13/8 @ Bet 365

Handed the chance to potentially break into the top-six, a high-flying Newcastle will travel to Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, putting in arguably a season-worst display and hit with a 5-0 hammering away at Tottenham last weekend, Burnley suddenly find themselves in the midst of a real struggle. Enduring a three-match losing run and shipping a staggering 11 goals on that losing run, Sean Dyche’s side have also continued to show some worrying issues on home soil. Including a 2-0 defeat against Crystal Palace in Lancashire entering December, the Clarets have lost three of their last four matches in front of their own supporters. It should also be noted that Newcastle landed back-to-back victories over Saturday’s hosts when they faced off last season.

As for the visitors, putting in yet another impressive display to snatch a dramatic 2-1 win over Southampton last weekend, few in the Premier League would have expected Newcastle’s stellar resurge. Landing back-to-back victories, including a stunning 2-0 win away at Bramall Lane earlier in the month, one-time Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has seen his side lose just one of their last seven matchups, a run that stems back to the 19th of October. Also gaining a reputation for their much-needed improvements in the final third and bagging a pair of strikes in each of their last three matches on the bounce, including their 2-2 draw against Manchester City, the Magpies will travel to Turf Moor filled with confidence.
