Newcastle go after Calvert-Lewin

According to a recent report from the Daily Telegraph, Newcastle United are set to make a move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The Everton forward has become quite the figure both on and off the pitch with his star power growing as time goes on. As per the report in question, the Englishman has vaulted to the top of their wish list ahead of the likes of Eddie Nketiah, Darwin Nunez and Ivan Toney, all of whom the Magpies are likely to be keeping a close eye on.

Calvert-Lewin, when he’s on form, is one of those strikers who can do just about anything. Of course, with the Toffees struggling in a big way in the Premier League this season, we haven’t been able to see the very best of what he’s got to offer.

Newcastle gaffer Eddie Howe seems to believe he has what it takes to drag that out of him, and we’re all for it.
