Newcastle go after Sanches

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Newcastle United are interested in trying to sign Lille star Renato Sanches.

The belief is that he would be available for just €35 million and with the Magpies getting a huge cash injection recently, it makes all the sense in the world for them to try and pursue this deal.

Sanches has been a highly-touted star for many years now with his Lille run revitalising his reputation as one of the most exciting players in Europe.

Wolves were considered to be the frontrunners back in the summer to sign him but after that fell through, a whole host of other top European clubs made their interest known.

Newcastle United may seem like an “out there” option but they really do want to make a statement in the January transfer window, and Sanches is one of many names who would help them do just that.
