In a showdown between two sides battling it out at opposite ends of the League Two table, Grimsby vs Newport will take place at Blundell Park on Tuesday night.

Picking up what was a deserved 2-1 win against Morecambe last time out, the Welsh outfit hold a one-point buffer at the top of the table and are seen as a leading pick to step up to England’s third-tier this season. Also managing to book an FA Cup showdown against Premier League outfit Brighton thanks to a thumping 3-0 victory against Salford City, Newport find themselves enjoying a five-match unbeaten run across all competitions. With the mood in Michael Flynn’s camp likely to be at a real high heading into Tuesday’s trip to Blundell Park, we’re backing the midweek guests to extend their buffer at the top of the table.
