Neymar not heading to Barcelona

“As of today, there’s no Neymar case, as the president said, and it’s complicated. We are passive actors. We know he’s not happy in Paris and it’s a situation that needs to be resolved in Paris. “We haven’t spoken to them. There is a lot of respect between the clubs and if there is a Neymar case one day, we’ll talk. Today, at this time, it’s ruled out.”

Those are the words of Barcelona vice president Jordi Cardoner, who has made it clear that a return to the Nou Camp for Neymar does not appear to be on the cards this summer. Neymar has informed PSG of his desire to move away from the French capital, but they want at least £200 million before they can agree to any kind of deal.

The 27 year old may be viewed as a controversial figure within the realms of world football, but there is no way of getting around the fact that he is still one of the best players in the game today.
