Paris Saint-Germain returned to the Ligue 1 summit with a commanding 4-0 victory over 10-man Nice at Allianz Riviera.
Nuno Mendes’ first-half penalty put the visitors in control, while Desire Doue, Dro Fernandez and Warren Zaire-Emery completed the rout after the break.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia twice went close to breaking the deadlock for Luis Enrique’s side, with Nice defender Juma Bah denying him on both occasions.
However, PSG did get the breakthrough three minutes before half-time when Mendes slotted home from the spot, after Morgan Sanson was penalised for handball following a VAR review.
Mendes then turned provider as he teed up Doue to double the visitors’ lead four minutes into the second half.
Nice were reduced to 10 men just after the hour mark, with Youssouf Ndayishimiye shown a straight red card on his first start of the season for a rash challenge on Lee Kang-In.
Though Kvaratskhelia was denied by the offside flag, PSG scored a third in the 81st minute through Fernandez’s first goal for the club, while Zaire-Emery sealed the victory with a close-range finish four minutes later.

Data Debrief: Fernandez makes history as PSG return to summit
PSG have registered successive Ligue 1 away clean sheets for the first time in two years, as they faced just a single shot on target over the 90 minutes.
Luis Enrique’s side took their points tally to 60 after 26 matches, with a game in hand on Lens. Each of the 13 teams with at least as many points at this stage of a Ligue 1 season were crowned champions at the end of the campaign.
PSG have now won each of their last four away games in all competitions, with only Bologna (six) currently on a longer such streak among teams in the big five European leagues.
At 18 years and 68 days, Fernandez became the youngest non-academy graduate to score for the club.
As for Nice, who have endured back-to-back 4-0 losses on home soil, they have conceded eight penalty goals in Ligue 1 this season, more than any other side.
They also suffered their 23rd defeat of the season in all competitions, the most of any team in Europe’s top 10 leagues.
