“Timo is of the opinion that he does not want to extend the contract,”

“So far, no club has reported their interest or said they would speak with Timo and want to sign him.

“It’s not a good idea for Timo to go into the final year of his contract, which could be difficult for his relationship with the fans depending on how his performance turns out.”

Those are the words of RB Leipzig manager Ralf Rangnick, who has seemingly confirmed that there has been no interest up to this point in Timo Werner, their popular forward. Werner was said to be drawing the attention of Liverpool, and has refused to sign a new deal with the German club up to this point. His current deal is set to expire in June 2020.

It seems like he’s more than likely going to leave, but up to this point, there’s no guarantee.
