No January moves for Bayern Munich?

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Bayern Munich are not planning on signing anyone during the January transfer window.

It had initially seemed more likely that he would see some outgoings from the German giants, and based on this news, it’s certainly still a possibility.

Given that they are the reigning European champions it makes sense that they wouldn’t want to make all too many changes, but they do need to recognise the struggles they are enduring in the Bundesliga. They’re still going to be the favourites to walk away with the title at the end of the season, but they’re facing far more competition than even the most pessimistic of Bayern fans could’ve anticipated.

If they don’t make any signings in January, there’s a good chance that they will stock up in order to make some big moves once the upcoming summer transfer window eventually rolls around.
