No new Liverpool deal for Klopp

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Jurgen Klopp is currently refusing to consider extending his contract as Liverpool manager.

The reason for this seems to be pretty simple – he’s already secure in his current contract at Anfield for another three years.

The German boss has always made it clear that his time on Merseyside isn’t going to last forever, no matter how many Liverpool supporters wish that was the case. He’s the kind of gaffer that anyone would love to have around for his spirit alone but beyond that, he’s been able to secure the kind of results that most Reds fans would have only dreamt of.

From their Champions League success to winning the Premier League it’s pretty obvious to see that Klopp has been one of the catalysts behind the club turning their fortunes around. Of course, the level of competition moving forward is only going to get better and better, as will Klopp’s growing reputation within the city.
