No Wolves move for Eriksen

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Wolverhampton Wanderers have not entered into talks with Inter Milan over a deal for Christian Eriksen.

A report from Sky Italy last night seemed to indicate that both Wolves and Ajax had spoken with Eriksen’s representatives with no formal bid being made. As it turns out, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Wolves are hoping to add a few names to their first team squad during the January transfer window but a midfielder isn’t believed to be one of them, and instead, they’re more interested in trying to locate a striker that can replace Raul Jimenez.

Wolves haven’t enjoyed a strong season in the Premier League thus far but the rumours linking them with Eriksen did offer a shred of hope that they could do some major damage in January. While that still may be the case, Eriksen is much more likely to go to a club that can provide him with consistent European football.
