No Wolves release clause for Jimenez

“Wolves bought me for €40million (£34.5m), they won’t sell me for less” Jimenez said in an interview with Marca.

“There is no release clause, but the clubs [in England], it is different how they are managed.”

Those are the words of Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez who has continued to discuss his future as concerns mount from Wolves fans that he could leave in the summer.

The state of the summer transfer window itself is naturally up in the air, with many clubs being left to see whether or not the current domestic leagues can continue as scheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Wolves were sat in a comfortable position in the Premier League prior to the suspension of the league, and they were also going well in the Round of 16.

While Jimenez will want to make the move to a Champions League side at some stage, he seems to be pretty settled at Molineux right now.
