Onana available ‘for the right price’

Ever since their remarkable run to the Champions League semifinal last season, which saw them put away the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus, Ajax have been watching that team dissolve. Midfielder Frenkie de Jong was the first to leave, joining Barcelona, defender Matthijs de Ligt later went to Juventus, and winger Hakim Ziyech is about to make his way to Chelsea.

Goalkeeper Andre Onana could be the next in the line towards the exit door, with a number of clubs – Chelsea, Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, reportedly interested in his services.

Ajax boss Erik Ten Hag admits as much. As quoted by London Evening Standard, Ten Hag spoke to Dutch outlet Algemeen Dagblad, and revealed that if a club comes in with a suitable offer for Onana’s services, steps would be taken to make the move happen.

However, he also said that he wasn’t aware that any club had made such an offer yet.
