Oniangue leaves Wolves for Caen

Prince Oniangue has left Wolverhampton Wanderers and signed for French club SM Caen for an undisclosed fee. Prince, who is a Congo international, wasn’t given all too many chances to shine for the Midlands club during his two years at Molineux – although he certainly made an impression with the fans during his handful of appearances. The 29-year-old midfielder, who was born in France, will be returning to the club where he spent six years of his youth development.

It’s one of two departures for Wolves in the last few days with Roderick Miranda also leaving the club, as they attempt to re-structure things ahead of their Premier League return. They’ve got a huge budget behind them and the fans are expecting a big first season back in the top flight, with some even going so far as to suggest that they can claim a place in the top half of the table.
