Onyekuru heading to Monaco?

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Premier League side Everton may struggle to hold onto Henry Onyekuru beyond the summer transfer window as he is being linked with a permanent move to Ligue 1 side Monaco. Sources close to the player have not confirmed whether or not a work permit application has been denied as of yet, as speculation continues to grow over his future.

He spent last season on loan at Galatasaray and seemed to turn some heads in the process, but it wasn’t enough to convince Everton to keep him on the books. Ever since he arrived he hasn’t really been viewed as much of a featured star for the Toffees, and now, it feels like just a matter of time before he is playing his football elsewhere on a consistent basis.

Either way, Everton still have a lot of work to do before the summer transfer window comes to an end.
